Sofidel, Italy, recently held its European Marketing and Sales Meeting 2016 in Viareggio (Lucca) Italy. For the occasion, Sofidel invited the steering committee of the Tissue Italy Network, which presented and discussed its ongoing activities with meeting attendees.
The theme of the Sofidel meeting was "Back to the Future – Our First 50 Years," underscoring both the pioneering spirit of its founders, Cav. Emi Stefani (Knight of Labour) and Giuseppe Lazzareschi, and the domestic and international progress that the second, and now also the third generation, are making .
This theme of continuous improvement and openness towards the different stakeholders also applied to the Tissue Italy Network in regard to its creation of bases for developing synergies that the two groups, with their respective expertise, now can offer. For example, the iT’s Tissue event, organized by the Tissue Italy Network, will be broadening its collaborations for the next edition scheduled for June 2018.
The success of the first two editions (2013 and 2015) of iT’s Tissue, the Tissue Italy Network points out, confirms that this road (a global tissue event headquartered in Lucca) is the right one. The scope and original design of IT’s Tissue, the Network explains, was to provide tissue professionals something different—a global event that, as far as format and many other aspects are concerned, is extremely innovative , especially compared with other, more traditional B2B events that exist in the world of tissue.
On behalf of all of its members, the Tissue Italy Network used the meeting occasion to once again congratulate the Sofidel Group for what it has been able to build in the course of half a century, and expressed warm wishes for many more years of growth and success.
