U.S. Q1 BHK Imports up 18% y/y, BSK imports +7.4%

U.S. imports of bleached hardwood kraft (BHK) pulp were up 18% y/y in the first quarter of 2016, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census, Washigton, D.C. Bleached softwood kraft (BSK) pulp imports during the same y/y period increased by 7.4%.
The table below shows U.S. BHK and BSK pulp imports for March 2016 and for the first quarter of this year.
