TAPPI's International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials (Nano 2016), which will be held June 13-16 in Grenoble, France, anticipates its largest attendance ever. Registration is ahead of schedule as delegates hurry to make the May 13 "Early Bird Discount" deadline. Conference planners attribute the higher registration to the strong technical program planned for this year's conference. Delegates can view the technical program on the conference website as well as download the conference attendee brochure.
"We received the largest number of presentation submittals than we have in the past," said Lisa Stephens, TAPPI division manager, Pulp & Paper and Nanotechnology. "This allowed our technical committee to select the highest quality, most relevant presentations for the conference. Delegates know this and realize the information they will receive during this four-day event is invaluable and can't be missed."
Nano is considered the premier event for individuals serious about sustainable and renewable nanomaterials. Besides its quality technical program, Nano offers multiple networking opportunities for individuals eager to meet new contacts and build lasting business relationships. It also offers delegates a chance to see the latest technologies at the NEW Product Showcase and exhibits. Nano delegates come from more than 25 different countries and include scientists, researchers, educators, and industry professionals. Nano also draws many students and young professionals who want to build a career in this emerging industry. The conference offers both a Young Professional Mixer as well as Mentoring Program to help these individuals meet others entering the field as well as to get guidance and advice from seasoned professionals who act as mentors.
