Kimberly-Clark Names Chandrasekaran CIO

Kimberly-Clark Corp., Dallas, Texas, USA, this week announced that Suja Chandrasekaran has been named chief information officer,(CIO), reporting to Maria Henry, SVP and CFO. Chandrasekaran brings more than 25 years of experience in technology and leadership roles in both the consumer packaged goods and retail industries.
"Suja has a strong track record of leading technology and digital organizations to deliver significant value to customers and across an enterprise," said Henry. "I look forward to leveraging her expertise in developing innovative technology solutions to deliver strong value to K-C."
Most recently, Chandrasekaran was SVP, global chief technology officer, and chief data officer at Walmart Stores Inc. Prior to Walmart, she was the global CIO for The Timberland Co. Earlier in her career, she held various IT leadership positions, including chief technology officer at PepsiCo and CIO, transformation - Americas at Nestle AG. She holds an MBA degree from Monash University in Australia, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Madras in India.
