Andritz reported Monday (July 18) the company has received a new order from S.A. Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa (SAICA), Zaragoza, Spain, to supply a new FibreFlow drum pulping system for the SAICA paper mill in El Burgo de Ebro, Spain.
Andritz will supply a latest-generation FibreFlow drum FFD - including the complete feeding and dewiring system - for a new OCC line. The state-of-the-art ANDRITZ pulping system ensures high fiber yield from various wastepaper streams and reliable operation. The convincing results of specific trials on the industrial-scale drum pulper at the Andritz pilot plant in Graz, Austria, as well as Andritz's 40 years of experience in drum pulping with more than 200 FibreFlow drum installations worldwide, were reported to be decisive for SAICA when making the decision to place the order with Andritz.
The scope of supply also includes complete erection, startup, and commissioning and training. Startup is scheduled for September 2017.
