IP Asia has received the Excellent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Case Award for its outstanding contributions to communities in a contest jointly held by commerce authorities and enterprise federations in Xuhui District, Shanghai. Helen Hu, CFO of IP Asia, and Simon He, HR director of IP Asia, attended the awarding ceremony at the Shanghai Symphony Hall on behalf of IP Asia, together with a few employee representatives who had actively participated in the CSR events.
The contest aims to promote a comprehensive understanding and implementation of CSR among enterprises through sharing and recognizing best practices. After rounds of rigorous assessments, IP Asia stood out from hundreds of participants of various industries and won the excellence case award.
Supporting the communities where our employees live and work is an important part of IP’s vision. In Asia, we have established strategic partnerships with local community organizations, with four signature giving programs including IP-Yangfan book donation program, IP scholarship program, holiday giving, and tree planting.
"It is my honor to receive the award on behalf of IP Asia," Hu said. "Through the sharing of other winners, we learned many best practices which I believe can help us to come up with different ways in supporting our communities."
He said that "we are excited to get this award, which recognized our CSR efforts. At the same time, I would like to thank all employees who have volunteered in our CSR events. I hope more colleagues will join future activities."
