China Pulp Imports at All-Time High

China’s July 2016 pulp imports hit an all-time high of 1.82 million metric tons. In July, the country’s pulp imports were up 7.7% y/y and 15.5% vs. June. The following graph by the China Customs Bureau shows China’s pulp imports for all grades of pulp from 2010 through July 2016.
