U.S. July 2016 Kraft Paper Shipments Decrease

According to the AF&PA's (Washington, D.C., USA) July 2016 Kraft Paper Report released this past week, total kraft paper shipments in the U.S. during July were 133,000 tons, representing a fall of 10.6% compared with July of this past year. AF&PA noted this past July had the second highest shipment volume of 2015.
Bleached Kraft paper shipments decreased from 7,700 tons in June to 6,700 tons. Unbleached kraft paper decreased from 130,100 to 126,300 tons. Overall, shipments during the first seven months of 2016 were 3.7% lower than the same period in 2015.
Total month-end inventories increased from 68,600 to 80,200 tons.
