July Boxboard Output by U.S. Producers a Mixed Bag

Total U.S. boxboard production in July 2016 decreased 2.5% compared with July 2015, but increased 2.2% from last month. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month as last year and decreased compared with last month, according to the recently released AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) July 2016 U.S. Paperboard Report.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with July 2015, but increased compared with last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with July 2015, but increased compared with last month.
