Expera Offers Extensible through Insu-Gard Product Line

Expera Specialty Solutions, Kaukauna, Wis., USA, has a long history of providing customized solutions for building and construction end-uses. A specialized offering in this product line includes extensible kraft papers.
Also referred to as XKL® papers, extensible kraft papers provide maximum strength and stretch properties for the most demanding converting applications. Used in a variety of markets and applications, Expera's XKL® paper is a strong sheet capable of withstanding great impact without bursting or puncturing.
"MF products provide maximum stiffness, while XKL sheet extensibility provides superior toughness throughout the supply chain from conversion to end-use," said Robyn Buss, VP of sales and marketing for Expera Specialty Solutions.
Some of the features of Expera's XKL papers include a basis weight range from 28 to 80 lb., and MD Stretch from 6% to 12%, depending on weight.
