TAPPI Yankee Dryer Group, Energy Forum to Meet in Neenah

The TAPPI Yankee Dryer Safety and Reliability Committee will be holding its fall meeting at Miron Construction in Neenah, Wis., USA, on Nov. 1-2, 2016. This is where the world’s leading yankee dryer owners and service providers meet to share ideas to improve yankee dryer safety and productivity.
Planned topics include:
- The Story of a Perfect Yankee Warmup By The Numbers – Jerry Jessick, Georgia-Pacific, and Bob Clarke, Kimberly-Clark
- Phase Array Ultrasonic Testing – Troy Kapalczynski, Toscotec
- Pressure Roll Loading Calibration – Valmet.

As a bonus, the meeting is jointly held with the Lake States TAPPI/North Central PIMA 2016 Energy Forum. This meeting focuses on case studies on mill energy savings, in support of the Wisconsin Focus on Energy Initiative. Yankee Dryer meeting attendees may join any or all of these sessions.
