Congrats to TAPPI PEERS PaperChase Participants

The TAPPI PEERS PaperChase had a great turnout this year with 26 finishers on a very nice morning in Jacksonville, Fla., USA. We also did great on the fundraising side with ten sponsors and a total of almost $5,000 going to the Engineering Division Scholarship fund.
We are now able to fund two scholarships each year, in part due to the funds raised by this race! The best predictors this year were Andrea McLaren and Lars Johansson, who were both only seven seconds off their actual time. The runners covered 5K and the walkers a little over one mile.
Our sponsors were: Clyde-Bergemann, NORAM, International Paper, Andritz, Valmet, WestRock, Kapstone, FITNIR, and Domtar. A special thanks to Yates for both sponsoring the race and providing the T-Shirts and the prizes to the top two finishers among the men and women.
