Mac Papers, one of the largest industrial distributors in the Southeast, this week announced the opening of its new wide format demo center located at its headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla., USA. The new facility aims to advance the company’s customer service offering by showcasing new state-of-the-art print equipment and providing customers with on-site training for equipment and workflow solutions.
The demo facility provides customers with hands-on knowledge of each equipment type, including each machine’s unique features, print techniques, technical components, and end-use applications. The showroom features a full range of equipment available at Mac Papers, including aqueous, solvent, and UV wide-format printers, along with finishing equipment, including cutters and laminators, as well as workflow solutions and substrates that perform best with each machine. The facility represents Mac Papers’ full portfolio of brands, including Mutoh, Mimaki, Canon, Graphtec, SAi, RasterLink, and Onyx.
"At Mac Papers, we believe that the best value we can offer our customers is to provide unmatched education, one-to-one services, and innovative solutions they don’t find through other distributors," said Marty Davis, director of wide format and graphics at Mac Papers. "Our new demo center is one more tool we’re introducing to make it easier for our customers to learn what equipment best suits their needs and how to maximize the potential of the machine once they’ve purchased it."
Davis will oversee the demo center and Ron Browske, technical support supervisor, will manage day-to-day customer service and operations.
