National Presto Sells Absorbent Products Unit

National Presto Industries Inc. reports that it has sold its absorbent products division to a Belgian company for $71 million. Eau Claire-based National Presto, which also has divisions that make ammunition for the military and small kitchen appliances for consumers, said the deal with Drylock Technologies Inc., unites the absorbent products segment with a major company in that industry while keeping local jobs.
