This unique product offers a smooth, silk, coated-like feel for high-speed inkjet presses. "Market feedback from inkjet press owners – utilizing both dye- and pigment-based inks – has been uniformly positive. On-press performance, image quality, ink density, and color fidelity are exceeding their expectations and that of their standard uncoated substrates." said John Mazuroski, Appleton Coated’s VP of uncoated and specialty products. He added that "this high-performance, uncoated paper works on multiple inkjet platforms, making it ideal for many applications. It is giving our customers a high-quality, high-value choice for full color inkjet presses. And it’s made and stocked in the U.S. to ensure quick delivery for customers."

Appleton Coated’s inkjet product manager, Amy Ambos, added that "we are supporting Ethos Enhanced Inkjet by stocking 50, 60, 70, and 80 lb Text in addition to the 7-pt and 9-pt covers already in stock. This gives our customers better service and more product options with 17 stocked Ethos Enhanced Inkjet items in six basis weights in the most popular roll sizes. Ethos Enhanced Inkjet is part of the HP ColorPRO Technology Partnership Program, meeting industry-leading performance standards for color excellence in digital printing."

"Inkjet technology continues to evolve rapidly and our growing offering of products is expanding with it. Furthermore, our collaborative also has updated our What Works and Where brochure which gives clear answers to customers and prospective customers about our papers and the platforms they work on," concluded Ambos.
