Bray Receives ASPI Excellence in Leadership Award

Jack Bray, VP, manufacturing operations at Domtar Corp., Montreal, Que., Canada, has been selected to receive ASPI’s 2017 Excellence in Leadership Award.
"Jack was nominated for this award as he is known in the industry for his leadership and mentorship, whether working with employees or the supplier base," said Keith Kemp, ASPI president and VP of global sales for AstenJohnson Advanced Fabrics. "Jack has been involved with new mill start-ups and improving ongoing operations and has always built environments where working together for success is the norm."
Bray has been the VP, manufacturing operations at Domtar since 2015. Prior to his current position, he was VP, manufacturing - Region 2, from 2011 to 2015. He was also the VP/mill manager for Domtar in Hawesville, Ky., from 2007 to 2011.
Bray holds a B.S. degree in paper science/engineering from Western Michigan University.
Established in 2010, the Excellence in Leadership Award recognizes outstanding leaders within the paper industry. The award honors unique and creative leadership of employees, company, and key suppliers through major projects or ongoing relationships.
