Södra Hikes Softwood Pulp Price in Europe

Södra, Sweden, reports that it will increase its market price for NBSK (northern bleached softwood kraft) pulp in Europe to $840 per metric ton, for all new business.
"Current market conditions are very favorable and demand is solid. We closed January business with prices on the rise amid consensus from our customers. Also, recent global statistics and market conditions support this momentum" said Magnus Björkman, Södra Cell VP of Sales and Marketing.
