Caraustar Hikes Prices of all Uncoated Recycled Paperboard Grades

Caraustar Industries Inc., Austell, Ga., USA, has announced a price increase of $75 per ton on all uncoated recycled paperboard (URB) grades effective starting with shipments on April 3, 2017. The increase is in response to the additional increased raw materials and other costs in 2017 to date, including the various grades of recycled fiber used in producing uncoated recycled paperboard.
Caraustar Industries is an integrated producer of 100% recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products. Caraustar serves the four principal recycled boxboard product end-use segments: tubes and cores; folding cartons; gypsum facing paper, and specialty paperboard products.
