Copelme Orders New GapCon Tissue Machine for Greenfield Mil in Bolivia

GapCon Tissue S.r.l., Italy, will supply Copelme S.A., Bolivia, a new, 2,760 mm wide (reel), 1,600 m/min. tissue machine. Startup of the new greenfield-project machine is scheduled for mid-2018.
The new machine will be installed in a new production plant, which is located in a newly established industrial park in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. GapCon will act as general contractor for the project, including complete engineering services, deliveries of all the accessories, mill site transportation, and on-site mechanical and electrical erection.
The tissue machine will be a crescent former unit, and GapCon will also supply the stock preparation line and complete auxiliary systems such as boiler house, compressed air system, overhead cranes, and mill electrification. The machine production capacity will be is 85 metric tpd (toilet paper, napkins, and kitchen towels).
