Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Raises Prices for Specialty Papers

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper, the Bielefeld, Germany-based producer of coated specialty papers, will increase its prices for deliveries, beginning June 1, 2017, by 6% – 8 % worldwide. The company attributes the increase to rising costs of pulp, chemicals, and logistics.

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH is a German subsidiary of Mitsubishi Paper Mills Ltd., Japan. The approximately 700 employees at Mitsubishi HiTec Paper produce high-quality direct thermal, digital imaging, carbonless, label, and barrier papers at two tradition-rich locations in Bielefeld and Flensburg, Germany.
