TAPPI Industry Career Center: Liberty Diversified International Seeks Sales Executive Trainee

 

 

When you join the Sales Academy Training Program at Liberty Diversified International (LDI), you will embark on a career adventure that will set you up for a lifetime of success. This unique opportunity entails an extensive 20+ week sales, business and leadership training program that will take you and a team of 8± peers (representing multiple LDI divisions) on a journey through LDI’s corrugated fiberboard packaging division, including site visits to facilities in Minnesota, Texas, California, and Nebraska. You will learn about our industry and what it takes to bring our products to market including sales and marketing, engineering, design, manufacturing, customer service quality, and finance – providing you the knowledge and skills needed to launch a successful sales career with our company. This position will be based in Minneapolis, Minn., with our division, Liberty Carton Co.

• 2- or 4-year degree in business, finance, marketing, or packaging strongly preferred; or equivalent experience in a sales role.
• A strong desire to pursue a career in sales (a love for the packaging and manufacturing industry will be considered a plus!) - this opportunity if not for individuals with more than 3 years of sales experience.
• A personal drive to succeed; a knack for finding solutions; a natural ability to connect with others and build relationships; and demonstrated perseverance; empathy and communication/listening skills.
