Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, Ukraine, has contracted A.Celli, Italy, for a press upgrade on its TM 2 and the delivery of a new Pope Reel with central cut unit, web stabilizing system, shaft puller, spool storage, core lifter, and finished reel lifting table.
Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, Ukraine, has contracted A.Celli, Italy, for a press upgrade on its TM 2 and the delivery of a new Pope Reel with central cut unit, web stabilizing system, shaft puller, spool storage, core lifter, and finished reel lifting table.
Delivery of equipment is scheduled for late October 2017, followed by installation and startup in December 2017 to January 2018.
The project will increase the speed of TM 2 to 1,200m/min, and it will be able to produce increased amounts of tissue, by up to 60 metric tons per month. The company expects the project to also improve winding quality at the tambour reel, increase tissue creping, and decrease electricity consumption.
Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill is one of the largest European producers of cardboard and paper products, including tissue. The mill is located in Obukhiv City, in the Kyiv region. It has some 2,200 employee, and is part of the Austrian Pulp Mill Holding.
