TAPPI Selects Outstanding Young Professionals for 2017

TAPPI is pleased to announce the selections for this year’s Outstanding Young Professionals Awards. The contest recognizes aspiring, young leaders in the paper, packaging, tissue, and related industries. Eligible nominees can be up to age 35 with 5-10 years of industry experience. The winners will be announced in the Paper360o Issue in summer or fall of 2017 and in Corrugated Today magazine.
Outstanding Young Professionals for 2017:
- Ana Meneses, product development innovation lead, WestRock
- Brantley West, fiberline process engineer, Domtar
- Jessica Carette, innovation manager, Cascades Tissue Group
- Josh Haywood, superintendent recovery/recaust/evaporators, Domtar
- Kmberly Phillips, front line leader–paper, International Paper
- Linea Olsson, innovations project engineer, Greif/GreenGuard Engineered Coatings
- Qiang Han Sr., research associate, International Paper
- Sarah Garchinski, scientist 1, Solenis LLC
- Tobias Wolfinger, technical director WFTE, Weidmann Electrical Technology AG.
In addition to being recognized in TAPPI’s various publications and online, the winners are invited to attend their division-specific
TAPPI conference during 2017 to receive their award and are granted one full year of TAPPI membership.
