Zanders Appoints Somer Sales Manager for U.S., Canada

To meet the increasing demand in the North American market, Zanders, Germany, has named Hank Somer sales manager for the U.S. and Canada. 

Somer’s key focus is on further developing Zanpack (high-quality board grades), Zanbarrier (flexible barrier paper for food packaging), and Chromolux (label paper and board for packaging and graphic applications). In Canada he will be responsible for the entire Zanders product portfolio, which includes specialty papers and boards for labels, packaging and graphic applications.

Somer has more than 30 years of experience in the paper and packaging industry, particularly in the sale of fine papers, board grades and flexible packaging. His most recent positions were in sales management at Cascades Paper, Fusionpaperboard, and Munksjo Paper Mills.
