TAPPI Industry Career Center: Runtech Systems Seeks Technical Sales Manager

Runtech Systems Inc. is searching for candidates to support its sales and distribution of MoveRoll products. This position is not required to be based in Georgia.

 

• Responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
• Support system integrators and the mill customers.
• Generate profitable accounts by recommending new technologies and opportunities.
• Quickly develop strong customer relationships with the key decision makers at each location.
• Establish and communicate value propositions.
• Assist with machine trials.
• Develop an annual sales strategy for the assigned accounts.
• Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas.

• Minimum four years of work experience in roll handling in the pulp and paper industry.
• Proven ability to sell value added products, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to create and give customer presentations that are adapted to the customer’s operation and needs.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada.

• Experience in roll handling from the reel to the wrap line.
• Mechanical experience.
• Control background (a definite asset).
