Zanders Hikes Prices 4% to 6%

Zanders, Germany, is increasing prices of paper and boards for labels and packaging applications by 4% to 6%, depending upon the product. Zanders said the increase is necessary to offset "very high" price increases of raw materials, particularly from the various chemical companies. The increase is effective for all deliveries beginning Aug. 1, 2017.
Jakob Jonsson, sales director at Zanders, explained that "as a company, we continue to review our operation to find cost saving measures to reduce the impact of the price increase."
