Boise Paper Wins 3M Supplier of the Year Award

Boise Paper, Boise, Idaho., USA, a division of Packaging Corp. of America, Lake Forest, Ill., was honored with the 2017 3M Supplier of the Year Award in recognition of its contribution to improving 3M’s competitiveness.
This year, 3M recognized 15 suppliers – among thousands in its global supply base – for world class performance in providing products and/or services. These suppliers were identified and rated based on strategic spend, contract compliance, actions taken to improve 3M’s relevance, and overall supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness, cost, technology roadmaps). An awards ceremony was held this past Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at the 3M Championship in Blaine, Minn.
"Our partnership with 3M is very important to us," said Paul LeBlanc, VP of Boise Paper. "As we collaborate to develop products, the high level of transparency between our companies allows us to be more innovative and significantly reduces our development cycle time. Across all levels, people at both organizations strive to do the right thing for the end customer, and we appreciate the acknowledgment of that effort."
