Catalyst Paper USA Price Announcement – Coated Groundwood & SC

According to a report published Tuesday morning (Aug. 15, 2017) by Midland Paper (Wheeling, Ill., USA) on the company's Paperclips News Service, effective for all new and existing orders with confirmed deliveries October 1 and later, Catalyst Paper will be implementing a price increase of $1.00/cwt for the following paper products: Coated Groundwood Grades: Escanaba®; Dependoweb®; Capri®; and Consoweb®.
Catalyst Paper will also be implementing a price increase of $2.00/cwt for the following paper products: SC Grades: Electracal®; Electraprime®.
This increase applies to all basis weights, finishes, grade extensions, and related private label products.
