Committee Work is Easier with TAPPI Connect

Since its launch, TAPPI Connect has become a valuable resource for hundreds of active members and volunteers, helping them engage in real-time communication and accomplish specific tasks: 

• Building Technical Programs

Collaborate on the Call for Papers for your conference, review submitted abstracts and papers, and build the final program all within TAPPI Connect. Emails don’t clutter your in-box, and there is no tracking down the latest versions of documents.  

• Develop Standards & Technical Information Papers (TIPs)

Share ideas, abstracts, early drafts, and build the final document ,all within TAPPI Connect. Use TAPPI Connect to garner interest from committee members to support development of Standards and TIPs. Discuss critical procedures and processes in real time as well as communicate with our standards manager to ensure regulations and style guidelines are followed.

• Share Committee Meeting Presentations

Can’t find that presentation given at the last committee meeting? Upload presentations to TAPPI Connect for easy access and share them with committee members who were unable to attend.

• Revise and Update Publications

Edit the entirety of a book, revise selected chapters, or collaborate on a new cover. 

The overarching Division Communities are open to the public and discussion threads can be viewed and contributed to by anyone who has joined TAPPI as a member or non-member. Communities in TAPPI Connect created for TAPPI committees are closed to the public and non-members; only committee members can contribute. 

To join one of the Division Communities, simply click the "Join" button. For communities that house specific TAPPI committees, you must be formally added. Documents and discussions within a committee community can only be viewed by committee members. To join a committee, contact the committee chair or a TAPPI Account Manager and request to be added.
