Fairmont Supply Appoints Fichiera New CEO

Paul Fichiera will be based out of Fairmont's corporate headquarters (Pittsburgh Area) and will be responsible for the overall management and growth of the company and its subsidiaries.
Fairmont Supply, Washington, Pa., USA, one of the largest distributors of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation supplies in the U.S., has appointed a new leader—Paul Fichiera, CEO. Fichiera will be responsible for the overall management and growth of the company and its subsidiaries.

Fichiera is a 20+ year industrial supply veteran, having served in executive leadership positions with HD Supply, GE Supply, and most recently, FleetPride, the largest distributor of aftermarket truck and trailer parts in the U.S. At FleetPride, Fichiera served as a VP and led a $250 million business unit with 600-plus employees and 60 branch locations across 12 states. His teams were consistently recognized for delivering above-market sales, profit, and earnings growth, while delivering exceptional results in safety performance and operational efficiency. At HD Supply, Fichiera held various VP leadership positions and helped transition the company to private-equity ownership while leading numerous organic growth and acquisition integration efforts across three separate business units.
Prior to HD Supply, Fichiera was an executive with GE and served in key leadership role with the GE Supply (now Gexpro/Rexel) and GE Appliances & Lighting business units. He started his career as a consulting manager with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). While at Accenture, Fichiera led teams that introduced B2B digitization and eCommerce capabilities to the oil/gas industry.
