Weyerhaeuser Reopens Lands in Western Montana to Public Access

Weyerhaeuser Co., Seattle, Wash., USA, this week announced that, effective immediately, all of its lands in Flathead, Lake, Lincoln, Missoula, Sanders, and Ravalli counties in western Montana have been reopened to public access. All campfires are still banned due to fire danger. The ban will remain in effect until further notice.

Weyerhaeuser, one of the world's largest private owners of timberlands, began operations in 1900. It owns or controls nearly 13 million acres of timberlands in the U.S. and manages additional timberlands under long-term licenses in Canada.
