Solenis, Wilmington, Del., USA, a global producer of specialty chemicals, will increase prices by up to 20% on all alkaline sizing products globally, effective immediately or as customer contracts allow. The price increase is necessary due to the increase in certain raw material costs combined with a tightening overall global supply chain, the company noted.
