TAPPISAFE at Empire States Local Section Meeting

TAPPISAFE is pleased to announce we will be attending the Empire States TAPPI Local Section Meeting, to be held in Glens Falls, N.Y., USA on Feb. 1, 2018. The Empire State TAPPI/New York Canadian PIMA Local Section serves industry professionals in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Ontario, and Quebec.
TAPPISAFE is a web-based program that allows the contractors and supplier workforce to take the safety orientations online, so they arrive to the facility ready for gate entry. The orientations are portable with the individual, so once the Basic Orientation is completed, it is recognized at any facility in the TAPPISAFE program.
Facilities currently utilizing the TAPPISAFE program include those owned and operated by companies such as International Paper, Finch, WestRock, Domtar, and Kimberly Clark. Each month, new companies and facilities are adopting TAPPISAFE as its primary safety orientation tool.
