Pilli-Sihvola Appointed CFO of Metsä Tissue

Juha Pilli-Sihvola (M.Sc. Econ.) has been appointed CFO of Metsä Tissue Corp., Finland, effective Feb. 1, 2018. He reports to CEO Petri Helsky and is a member of the Metsä Tissue management team. Pilli-Sihvola is in charge of Metsä Tissue’s finance and control organization as well as ICT matters.
Pilli-Sihvola moves to the new position from Metsä Wood, where he has been CFO as of July 2017. He has a long career in financial management positions in, e.g., Microsoft mobile Oy, Nokia, KPMG Consulting, and Kemira.
Both Metsä Wood and Metsä Tissue are parts of Metsä Group.
Metsä Tissue is a tissue paper products supplier to households and professionals in Europe and a leading global supplier of baking and cooking papers. With production units in five countries, the company employs a total of about 2,700 people. Its sales in 2016 were EUR 1 billion. Metsä Tissue is part of Metsä Group.
