Japan’s BHK/BSK Pulp Imports Surge in November

Japan’s BHK (bleached hardwood kraft) pulp imports surged 18.6% y/y through the first 11 months 2017. The country’s BSK (bleached softwood kraft) imports were up 7.3% during the same period.
The following table, based on data by the Japan Ministry of Finance, shows Japan’s BSK and BHK pulp imports for November 2017 and for the first 11 months of 2017.
