World-20 Pulp Shipments Hit All-time High

PPPC’s World-20 December 2017 pulp shipments hit an all-time high of 4.82 million metric tons, 6% above the previous peak of December 2016. The following table shows PPPC World¬-20 market pulp stats for December 2017 and for the entire year of 2017.
Shown are shipments in metric tons (total and by-grade) for North America, Western Europe, China, and the rest of the world, operating rates for the fourth quarter of 2017, and producers’ stocks of softwood and hardwood pulps.
