World-20 Pulp Shipments Unchanged in January

January 2018 World-20 pulp shipments were unchanged y/y, according to data maintained by the Pulp and Paper Products Council (PPPC), Montreal, Que., Canada. A low shipping rate (81% of capacity) reflects logistical problems and not lack of demand. Pulp stocks at the end of January were up 1 day to a total of 35 days.
