Matteo Gentili, president of TMC (Tissue Machine Co.), Bologna, Italy, and Michael Rooyakkers, president of VTP (Valley Tissue Packaging), Kaukauna Wis., USA, this week announced that the two companies entered into a joint partnership on March 5, 2018, to offer an enhanced range of packaging solutions to the global tissue industry, comprised of innovative products and highly advanced services to meet the evolving demands of the consumer and professional markets.

The companies have agreed to join forces to better fulfill customers’ packaging needs with new products, world-class service, and spare parts—an offer supported by a wealth of experience, leading-edge equipment, and competences unique in the world—a partnership poised to create new packaging equipment and new opportunities for customers to improve productivity.

TMC and VTP represent a global leader in the tissue packaging market with annual sales of about $100,000,000 and stand ready to serve the industry’s packaging needs with production capabilities in Europe, North America, and Brazil. At Tissue World Miami, on March 22 at 11 a.m. at TMC booth L100, Gentili ande Rooyakkers will symbolically sign the partnership and present the upcoming plans for development.

"Valley Tissue Packaging is excited to formalize its partnership with Tissue Machine Co. to offer a wider range of well-designed technology throughout North America. We have found TMC to be a very innovative machine manufacturer for the consumer market. This, teamed with Valley Tissue Packaging’s strong North American away-from-home market, allows us to deliver new products and services to our customers," said Corey Hurst, VTP’s VP of sales and operations.
