U.S Containerboard Production Down in February

U.S. containerboard production in February 2018 was down 3.0% compared with February 2017, and down 1.1% year-to-date, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) February 2018 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report released this week.
The containerboard operating rate was 94.1%, or 3.1 percentage points, lower than the same month last year. Production for exports was 6.0% lower than February 2017 and 8.4% lower year-to-date.
