TAPPI Industry Career Center: GL&V Seeks Product Manager

 

Your primary role as a Product Manager is to be a vital part in expanding and growing the product line business by using your technical knowledge of the product line assigned to collaborate with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure market success. 

It's a diverse technical role that spans from assisting on technical quotations, ensuring proper costing, customer support and problem solving as well as tools and systems modifications, and to do it with an entrepreneurial mind-set for improving the current and future generations of pumps and mixers products. 

Additionally, providing training to both internal technical personnel and our customer base is part of this broad and diversified role. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college in Mechanical, Chemical and/or related engineering degree; and five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge of the Pulp and Paper process.
• Ability to provide Technical Presentation is a must.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Capability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Strong inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
• Excellent technical verbal and written skills required.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
• Must have the ability to travel domestically or internationally at least 25% -50% of the time. Automobile & Air travel is required.
