According to the human resources specialist at DeRidder, "the PCA DeRidder mill provides scholarships to local students not only to help graduating seniors in need, but also to benefit the community. When students leave to continue their education, it is our hope that they will come back to provide betterment to the area. Whether they work for PCA or pursue another career, they will still be adding value to our community."

Student applications are currently being received for the scholarships.

All of PCA’s mills are Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®)-certified. More information is available online.
