U.S. May 2018 Boxboard Production up 6.3%

Total U.S. May 2018 boxboard production increased 6.3 percent compared with May 2017 and increased 2.3 percent from last month, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) May 2018 U.S. Boxboard Report released this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month a year ago and decreased compared with last month. Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production increased compared with May 2017 and increased compared with last month.
The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with May 2017 but increased when compared with last month.
