Build upon your existing wood science knowledgebase with the popular Introduction to Wood Science and Forest Products Course, presented by the Forest Products Society (FPS) in conjunction with Mississippi State University’s (MSU) Department of Sustainable Bioproducts. The course is scheduled for September 11 – 13, 2018 at MSU’s Department of Sustainable Bioproducts in Starkville, Mississippi.
Are you new to this industry or haven’t had a previous education in Wood Science and Forest Products? This course is perfect for you.
This comprehensive, three-day course was created specifically for people in wood products manufacturing who do not have a formal education in the field. Suppliers, consultants, claims agents, and anyone seeking to understand trees, their harvesting, and how wood is processed into today’s products are also good candidates for this event. Current issues in the forest products industry, such as green building and product testing, are also covered in the course.
