Russia Pulp Exports a Mixed Bag

Russia’s BSK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp exports were up 10.6% y/y through January-May 2018. NHK (northern hardwood kraft) pulp exports were down 18.3% during the same period, according to data maintained by the Customs Committee of Russia.
The following table shows Russia’s BSK and BHK (bleached softwood kraft) pulp exports for May 2018 and the first five months of the year.
