In Memoriam: Tom Vilardi

Tom was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on October 9, 1961, to Theodore "Ted" and Jacqueline Vilardi. After graduating from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, he worked for CBS Records in New York City before going to work for NV Publications.
In 1986, Tom succeeded his father as president and publisher of Board Converting News and established is as the respected industry publication it is today. NV Publications has published the show guides for TAPPI/AICC SuperCorrExpo and Corrugated Week since the inception of these industry events in 1999-2000. In partnership with the UK, the Board Converting News publication family has grown to include Flexo Market News, International Folding Carton Industry, and Corrugated Today, among other noted publications.
Tom is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jeneane Crawford Vilardi and their son Thomas Vilardi, Jr., and daughter Tyler Vilardi, as well as his mother, Jacqueline Vilardi, sisters and two grandchildren.
