WestRock Acquires Schlüter Packaging in Germany

 

This past Thursday (Aug. 8, 2018) WestRock (Norcross, Ga., USA) officially announced that the company had purchased the German firm Schlüter Print Pharma Packaging. The aquired firm, Schlüter, will become part of WestRock's Multi Packaging Solutions business.

"Schlüter has an excellent reputation has a high quality supplier to customers in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries, and this aquisition will enable us to build our business in these growing markets... It will also expand our geographical footprint to better serve customers throughout Europe," said Marc Shore, president of WestRock Multi Packaging Solutions business.

Schlüter Packaging's ownership expressed excitement and optimism about working as part of WestRock, commenting that they believe WestRock is well positioned to grow their business and develop solutions for their customers today and in the future.
