N.A. P&W Paper Demand Continues Decline through September

North American demand for printing and writing (P&W) paper was down 7.1% y/y in September 2018, a worse than 4% decline year-to-date, according to data maintained by the Pulp and Products Council (PPPC). The September shipping/capacity ratio was 91% versus 94% a year ago. The table below shows North American P&W Paper statistics for September 2018 and for the past nine months.
