The technical program at the 2019 TAPPI International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials continues to expand and develop. This year, TAPPI received a record number of abstract submissions on more than 300 topics. The technical program reflects this growth with the addition of four new topics added to the final day of the Conference.
·The first of these new sessions is Session 24: Non‐Traditional Methods for Nano‐Lignocellulose Extraction, which focuses on new production and extraction methods and techniques.
·Next is Session 28: Towards Non-Traditional Markets. These presentations range from the development of standards and hybrid materials, to food and pharmaceutical applications.
·In Session 33: New Pathways for Nanocellulose Composites, presenters look at new methods of creating nanocellulose composites.
·Finally, we have Session 37: Papers and Beyond, where presentations cover everything from the use of nanomaterials in the preparation of fluorescent papers, to the creation and application of gel polymers and hydrogels.
TAPPI Nano 2019 is being held June 3 -7 in Chiba, Japan and features exciting keynote addresses alongside more than 30 technical sessions designed to deliver the latest in renewable nanomaterials. Explore the Technical Program for the schedule and a complete list of technical sessions.
