TAPPI’s 2019 International Conference on Renewable Nanomaterials (TAPPI Nano 2019), the first in Asia, kicks off in just over a month from 3-7 June in Chiba, Japan.
Among the exceptional opportunities for attendees are the largest technical program we’ve ever offered – including four new sessions – as well as workshops, networking events and more.
Choose between these top-notch, highly relevant workshops on Tuesday, 4 June:
- Cellulose Nanomaterial (CNM) Safety: Building a Bridge from Theory to Practice - Learn about the requirements and methods for demonstrating occupational and environmental safety for cellulose nanomaterials (CNMs), through the use of case studies.
- CNM Characterization Workshop: Primary Characterization - This workshop summarizes/outlines details the best practices and limitations for several techniques/methods typically used for the characterization of CNMs, in particular, surface charge, purity, crystallinity, particle morphology, and mechanical properties.
There are also several special events scheduled for attendees, including:
- The Poster Session & Student Poster Competition, where you support future nanotechnology researchers by attending and voting to select the winners from more than 90 entries.
- The Conference Dinner and Awards Ceremony, where you can soak up some Japanese culture. Start the evening with cocktails and conclude with a performance of Japanese traditional music. Guests must register by 11 May. $100 per person.
Register today and be sure to add these workshops and events to your registration. If you have already registered for TAPPI Nano 2019, you can change your existing registration by calling Member Connection at +1 770 446-1400.
