Roundtable Discussions Focus on Mill Operations at PEERS 2019

The paper and pulping industry is challenged more than ever to stay relevant in a fast-changing digital world with increasing environmental concerns. Staying abreast of new technologies, best practices and the latest advancements is vital in order to maintain competitiveness. With added pressure for sustainability and optimization, mills must utilize all resources available to them. TAPPI’s Pulping, Engineering, Environmental, Recycling and Sustainability (PEERS) Conference is one such resource.
PEERS 2019, October 27-30, 2019 in St. Louis, MO, is considered the premier technical event focusing on the latest advances in technology, as well as fundamental process knowledge and control issues mills face each day. Its comprehensive technical program includes seven tracks emphasizing new methods and best practices to help mills optimize operations and reach their sustainability goals. PEERS Hot Topics Breakfasts, held October 29 and 30, focus on many of the industry’s latest technical/production developments and operating problems. They are open to all conference attendees and offer an opportunity for people with similar interests to get together to discuss key topics.
